Image competition results - 2012

Light microscopy category and trophy winners - Irina Rudykh & Rikus Botha

Rikus Botha and Irina Rudykh from the Department of Physiology with the BIRU Image Trophy and other prizes.

Their image won the Light Microscopy category and was also the overall winner of the BIRU Image Competition in 2012.

Differentiated 3T3-L1 cells ( accumulation of intracellular lipid droplets in adipocytes). The image was acquired on the Physiology Teaching Lab Leica microscope.
