Department of Anaesthesiology
The Department of Anaesthesiology is located on the first floor of Building 507, 22-30 Park Ave Grafton, Auckland. Several members of our department are based in Hamilton at the Waikato Clinical Campus as well as the Simulation Centre for Patient Safety at Basement, Building 502 Grafton Campus, 85 Park Road, Grafton, Auckland. Staff in the department are involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of medical, biomedical and science students, clinical skills teaching and research. We have a number of active research programmes in our department involving full time staff, post-doctoral scientists, PhD, Masters and Honours students. The department is represented at Auckland City Hospital (level 8), Starship Childrens Hospital, Green Lane (Level 4, Auckland City Hospital), National Womens (Level 9, Auckland City Hospital), Middlemore, North Shore, Rotorua, Taranaki, Tauranga and Waikato Hospitals.
