Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences
Mental Health and Addiction Board of Governance
The Mental Health and Addiction Board of Governance is a cross-faculty board that involves members from the faculties of Medical and Health Sciences, of Education and of Science who have considerable expertise in the developing fields of mental health and addiction, and in both teaching and research. Within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, in particular, teachers and researchers are located in a number of schools, centres and departments.
This Board has been established since July 2008 in order to maximise the opportunities available to the University and to minimise duplication. The Board will optimise strategic gains that may be made from developments in research and in teaching, particularly our ability to meet the needs of professionals preparing for roles in provision of mental health and addiction services.
