Preparing a PBRF Evidence Portfolio: School of Population Health Emerging Researcher Writing Club Event as iCalendar

26 October 2011

10:30am - 12:30pm

Venue: Function Room 730-220, Building 730, Tāmaki Innovation Campus

The PBRF evidence portfolio (EP) is a highly structured form, developed by the Tertiary Education Committee (TEC), for capturing and reporting on an individual’s contribution to research over a given period. It is in effect a precise, time and volume limited, academic CV. The key elements of an individual’s EP include research publications and items that demonstrate contribution to the research environment (CRE) and peer esteem (PE).

By now most people may have entered these items in Research+. In this session Jo Adams (Research Development Advisor for FMHS) will focus on preparation of the EP with emphasis on the writing the nominated research outputs (NRO) narratives and presentation of PE and CRE items. Participants are encouraged to bring drafts of their EPs (and CVs) to the session for review.
