South Auckland Clinical Campus

Teaching and learning at the South Auckland Clinical Campus

The South Auckland Clinical Campus (SACC) offers a wide range of clinical teaching experiences for medical students at one of the largest teaching tertiary hospitals in New Zealand. Middlemore Hospital provides secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care and a selected range of community and domiciliary services for the population of Counties Manukau – the area that stretches from Otahuhu to Port Waikato. The hospital also provides niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers in orthopaedic and plastic surgery, burns, spinal injury rehabilitation, renal dialysis, and neonatal intensive care.

The SACC Student Administration is located on Level 2, North Wing, Esmé Green Building and provides core administrative support to students on clinical attachment.
