Research process at Counties Manukau District Health Board

Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) is committed to improving outcomes for the population it serves. It values the contribution research makes to this and wishes to support and promote research and the individuals who undertake the research. Research at CMDHB should be conducted to the highest scientific, safety and ethical standards.

If you are preparing to undertake research in CMDHB there is an approval process whereby you will need to follow.

External researchers should contact the Counties Manukau Health Research Office to identify contacts for the areas they wish to collaborate with and to register their project. Ideally this should occur in the early stages of the research project.

The CMDHB will not allow you to start your research project on site until you have received approval from the Counties Manukau Health Research Office.
