The awarded grants mentioned below allowed us to pilot test the methods and protocols for all of the food environment and policy modules of the International Network for Food and Obesity/non-communicable diseases (NCDs) Research, Monitoring and Action Support (INFORMAS) ahead of a planned nation-wide study on food environments and policies in New Zealand. There are 9 food environment and policy modules: government actions and policies, private sector actions and practices, food composition, food labelling, food promotion, food provision, food retail, food prices and food trade and investment.
