On 11-15 Jan 2017, the Centre was represented at the 14th Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC), held at the National University of Singapore, by Claire O’Regan and Dr Marcus Henning and Dr Craig Webster. Marcus and Craig ran a well-attended workshop on the spectrum of methods available for conducting research, presented a poster, and acted as judges of poster presentation sessions. In addition, Marcus attended an editorial board meeting of the journal ‘The Asia Pacific Scholar’ as overseas advisor.
Claire ran a booth distributing information on the Centre’s courses and research activities, and conducted a visitor prize draw for an Apple iPad. A lucky visitor from the Philippines won the iPad, and Marcus won a Merit Award for his poster presentation.
