Becton Dickinson FACS Aria II SORP cell sorter

The system operates aseptically and is compatible with a variety of collection vessels such as multiwell plates and tubes for subsequent tissue culture. Researchers requiring cells to be sorted must arrange a time with the sorter operator (contact details below), who will sort your cells for you.

Equipment charges - users from The University of Auckland

The FACSAria II is charged out at $2.77 per minute (equivalent to $166.21 per hour). There is an additional setup cost of $83.10 per day, which is shared equally between the day’s users. These rates apply only to users from The University of Auckland.
