Dean's International Doctoral Scholarships (FMHS)

The Dean's International Doctoral Scholarships (FMHS) aim to attract international students of high calibre to pursue a research doctoral degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. Up to three scholarships per annum of up to $27,000NZD stipend plus compulsory tuition fees, relocation grant and insurance are available. Applications close 1 July annually.

International student support

The Student Support Advisor team provides support for international students studying at the faculty and provides advice in a number of areas such as transitioning to life in New Zealand, accommodation, academic progress and general wellbeing. The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences' student support team can be contacted at fmhssupport@auckland.ac.nz. They support international and domestic students at both Grafton and Tāmaki Campuses and can meet with students in either location.
