Stroke Study

stroke study

Participants wanted!

We want to find out how people perform on some new tests of hand sensation and coordination.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are 18 years or older
  • Experienced a stroke six or more months ago
  • Still have altered sensation in your hand and arm from the stroke

The study involves about six hours of your time, spread across two visits at least one week apart.

The visits will either take place at the Auckland Hospital Support Building, for which we can arrange and cover your transport costs, or a place convenient to you.

In each visit, you will complete a number of assessments of your hand sensation and coordination.

As a thank you for participating, a $20 grocery voucher will be provided on completion of your participation.
