Professor Donna Rose Addis and Dr Reece Roberts (School of Psychology, The University of Auckland) are investigating how the brain, heart and mind change with age

In this study, you will be asked to perform simple visual and short-term memory tasks.

Part of this study involves MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and EEG (electroencephalography) recordings of your brain activity, an ECG (electrocardiograph) to record your heart rate, and a recording of your blood pressure.

Time required: 2 sessions, approx. 2-3 hours each

Compensation: $25 voucher for each session completed.

 

To be eligible you:

  • Must be aged between 20 and 89 years
  • Must not have a history of head injury, depression or neurological conditions. We’ll ask you some other questions to ensure you are eligible to participate.
