Dr Nasim Mehrabi's, from Professor Richard Faull's Lab, doctoral research has been recently featured in HD NEWS after being published in the top neuroscience journal “Neurobiology of Disease”.

The paper titled “Symptom heterogeneity in Huntington’s disease correlates with neuronal degeneration in the cerebral cortex” supports and considerably expands the group's previous findings, showing that the pattern of neuronal loss in different cortical areas in Huntington’s corresponds to the disease progression and predominant symptoms in patients.

Nasim's research into Huntington's disease has attracted international attention, which is why it was recently profiled on “HD NEWS”, an online magazine which features the top international research on Huntington’s disease.
