Brain Awareness Week 2012

Brain Awareness Week 2012 was a huge success, featuring an action packed week of research presentations and demonstrations for all ages.

Auckland Brain Day was held on Saturday 17 March, with neuroscientists and clinicians from the Centre for Brain Research talking about the latest research updates, as well as community group stands and science demonstrations. It was the biggest event of its kind in New Zealand!

We were also proud to host an innovative live brain scan event, called Mind Reading. Our experts revealed the science of brain imaging, and aimed to detect the difference between a truth and a lie.
