Brain Day - an interactive expo

Brain Day is an exciting and engaging community event where members of the public can find out the latest developments in brain science and research. The event showcases some of the amazing research happening at the Centre for Brain Research, at the University of Auckland.

Brain Day is organised annually by the Centre for Brain Research and the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand.

The 2018 Brain Day - promises to be a fun and informative day of neuroscience with three great science panels, Interactive Science displays, Being Brainy Brain Games and kids activities. View the timetable.

In New Zealand, the Neurological Foundation has been supporting this Brain Day event for over a decade, as part of Brain Awareness Week, an annual international campaign initiated by the Dana Foundation of New York, to raise public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.
