Health Research Council Pacific Health Development Awards - Open Now

Round 3 of the HRC - Pacific Health Research Awards for scholarships and fellowships are now open

The HRC has a number of scholarships and fellowships available designed to foster the Pacific health research workforce.

Pacific health research requires the active involvement of Pacific peoples (as researchers, advisors and stakeholders), and not just as subjects of research.  Pacific health research helps to build the capacity and capability of Pacific peoples in research, and contributes to the Pacific knowledge base.

The HRC also administers the Preventing and Minimising Gambling Harm Career Development Awards (Māori and Pacific populations in New Zealand), which are funded by the Ministry of Health. The aim of this award is to support the career development of emerging health researchers seeking to prevent and minimise gambling-related harm for Pacific and Māori populations in New Zealand.

Internal deadline to input these into the Research funding module is 5pm Friday 07 July 2017.
