Health Research Council Māori Health Development Awards - Open Now

Round 3 of the HRC - Maori Health Research Awards for scholarships and fellowships are now open.

The HRC has a number of scholarships and fellowships available designed to foster the Māori health research workforce.

Māori health research is expected to build an evidence base which contributes to Māori health gains, derived from high-quality Māori health research that upholds rangatiratanga and uses and advances Māori knowledge, resources and people.

The HRC also administers the Preventing and Minimising Gambling Harm Career Development Awards (Māori and Pacific populations in New Zealand), which are funded by the Ministry of Health. The aim of this award is to support the career development of emerging health researchers seeking to prevent and minimise gambling-related harm for Pacific and Māori populations in New Zealand.

Internal deadline to input these into the Research funding module is 5pm Friday 07 July 2017
