AAHA Collaboration Fund 2017 Open for Submissions Now

AAHA Collaboration Fund 2017
Open for Submissions Now

Dear Colleagues,

There is never enough funding for research — not in New Zealand nor anywhere else in the world.

Therefore, as one of their first major initiatives, the partners in the Auckland Academic Health Alliance (AAHA) established a new source of funding for researchers.

As partners in the Alliance, the Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) and our Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS) launched the AAHA Collaboration Fund in 2014.

Grants from the AAHA Collaboration Fund (totalling $300,000) provide ‘seed funding' to help strengthen the relationship between FMHS and ADHB research staff and encourage joint research projects.

Now, both ADHB and FMHS are calling for submissions to the AAHA Collaboration Fund 2017.

The 2017 Research Collaboration Fund round opens on 14 March

Applications close on 6 June 2017

The AAHA Collaboration Fund is co-funded by the A+ Trust and The University of Auckland Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS).

If you or someone you mentor is interested in submitting an application you can find out more by visiting the AAHA website.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Kira Finucane, FMHS Research Development Manager by email.

We look forward to receiving your submission.
