Central Plant Building – Western Side

Central plant services commissioning is ongoing.

The southern services tower plywood cladding is 70% complete waiting on the completion of the services pipe work. This services tower will be finished in metal cladding similar to the other services towers. The civil site works to the western side of Building 504 is 80% complete. The current work in this area should be complete by the end of April 2011.

Boyle Building – Eastern Side

The drainage work on the southern (Boyle Crescent) side of the building has been completed and the final ground levels are being formed. The Park Road Gantry has been removed and the Tower Crane is due to be removed by the 22nd March 2011. The Building envelope is virtually complete and the services fit-out are well underway throughout the Building.

Redevelopment of the internal areas within the existing University Buildings

Work is continuing in six different areas within the existing Buildings as part of an ongoing redevelopment process and this will continue for years to come with the site containers / site offices being part of this process. We will have a large crane positioned in the University loading dock on Wednesday the 16th March 2011 for lifting components up on to the roof on Thursday the 17th March 2011.
