New Zealand Society for Oncology Annual Meeting 2017 Event as iCalendar

14 October 2017 - 15 October 2017

Venue: Crowne Plaza Hotel, Auckland

Host: NZSO

New Zealand Society for Oncology (NZSO) brings together oncologists and cancer researchers.

We are excited to return to Auckland for the 49th edition of our annual scientific meeting.

This year, the conference will be held on a weekend to better accommodate those colleagues with clinical duties. We are also pleased to announce that, for the first time, NZSO will be contiguous with a major whole-day symposium on progress in breast cancer research and medicine. Further details on this exciting event, which is being coordinated by Breast Cancer Cure and will feature leading international speakers, are given below.

NZSO 2017 focuses on continuing to improve the scientific program and conference experience offered to our delegates. Confirmed session themes include immuno-oncology, radiation sciences and medicine, molecular pathology and diagnostics, drug discovery, early-phase clinical trials and genomics. Keep an eye out for announcements concerning training sessions, networking events and opportunities for trainees to meet with our distinguished guests.

Finally, we anticipate the announcement of our prestigious Bruce Cain Memorial Lectureship, Translational Research Award, Roche Translational Cancer Research Fellowship and PHARMAC Trainee Awards. A nomination process has been implemented for the Translational Research Award and is now open for submissions. To submit or for more information email Francis Hunter
