This interactive 2-day short course is designed for everyday clinical educators working across a variety of disciplines. It is composed of eight core topics and covers the fundamental knowledge and applied skills to provide a practical, “how to” guide for teaching and learning in the clinical environment.

Day 1

  • How to teach a skill
  • How to plan a tutorial
  • How to use feedback for learning
  • How to facilitate a small group

Day 2

  • How to do a mini CEX
  • How to assess and OSCE
  • How to teach in the clinical workplace
  • How to supervise clinical students
