This lecture will cover the tortuous development  of a platform of technologies suitable for medical devices. It will draw on Simon’s experiences in building research teams in basic physiology, founding a company, merging a company and yet remaining focused on good science. Simon will draw on experiences in rowing, sailing, physiology and bioengineering to illustrate that it’s the team that matters.
