Centre for Brain Research seminar: How to harness the power of multicolour flow cytometry Event as iCalendar

21 October 2013

12:30 - 1:30pm

Venue: Seminar Room 501-505, Building 501, 85 Park Road, Grafton

Flow cytometry is one of the key technologies used in the search for novel cell behaviours by immunophenotyping. Many research institutes around New Zealand now house multicolour flow cytometers, however the difficulty has become training users to successfully build and analyse multicolour panels.

This presentation aims to give a strong background and understanding of how the technology works, what the potential applications are, and will focus heavily on tips and tricks that will enable scientists to succeed in the world of multicolour panel design and therefore complex immunophenotyping.

Presented by: Dr Kylie Price , Hugh Green Cytometry Fellow, Malaghan Institute

Kylie will be at the Centre for Brain Research from 10am to 3pm - anyone wishing to meet with her should contact: Dean Robinson Email: d.robinson@auckland.ac.nz
