Molecular Medicine & Pathology seminar: Caspases in Cell Death and Survival Event as iCalendar

26 April 2013

3:30 - 4:30pm

Venue: Seminar Room 501-505, Building 501, 85 Park Road, Grafton

Apoptosis is said to be dependent on caspases, but it has become pretty clear now that supposedly pro-apoptotic caspases can, paradoxically, also trigger entirely different cell signaling pathways. This talk will focus on the biochemical mechanisms that allow caspase-8 to program apoptotic cell death versus an opposing pathway to cell survival and clonal expansion.
