The decline in dairy cow fertility over the past 30 years is estimated to result in a $100M annual loss to the NZ dairy industry.  Dr Debbie Blake is an assisted reproductive technologist in the Department of O& G, who is working with Associate Professor Larry Chamley to analyse the multifactorial causes of subfertility in high producing cows and develop improved strategies for combating this problem.
