In February the CBR Seminar Series will incorporate the lecture component of the annual meeting of the Julius Brendel Trust. This private neurology trust supports continuing education and career development to help improve neurological care in Auckland. The annual meeting brings international speakers to New Zealand to facilitate the exchange of ideas and practices in neurology.

Professor Peter Goadsby is director of the University of California, San Francisco’s Headache Center and one of the world’s leading headache experts and researchers. “Clinical Trials in Epilepsy: More pragmatism needed”

Dr Phil Smith is a consultant at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, specialising in neurology with particular interests and specialist areas in general neurology and epilepsy.
