Evaluating, validating, quantifying and modifying aseptic techniques in anaesthesia.

Healthcare-associated infections may occur when micro-organisms are inadvertently introduced into patients receiving medical care. I will present evidence on the possible contribution to this burden of drug preparation and administration by anaesthesia providers.

The causal impact of student's engagement on academic achievements.

There is a growing consensus in the literature that student's engagement is a complex construct comprised of three dimensions – Behavioural Engagement, Emotional Engagement, and Cognitive Engagement. I will present work checking the feasibility of a research model relating engagement to academic achievement while considering interactions between these three engagement dimensions.
