Research interests

Dr.Marjan Askarian-Amiri is research fellow in Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre. Her laboratory is interested in understanding of the gene regulation through epigenetic mechanism. She is looking at the role of long non-coding RNA in cancer progression and investigating the regulatory mechanism of these newly discovered genes. The two major projects in her laboratory focused on breast cancer and melanoma.
