School of Population Health Research in the School of Population Health

The School of Population Health houses an innovative and diverse group of researchers from many disciplines. Major research clusters include cardiovascular disease, primary healthcare, gambling and alcohol research, clinical trials, quality in healthcare and Māori, Pacific and Asian health. The synergies arising from these groups with others passionate about community development provides unique opportunities for partnership in research aiming to improve the health of populations.

Board of Research, School of Population Health

The Board of Research was formed in 2003 with representatives from the main sections of the school. The board facilitates research development within the school through information sharing, supporting applications for research funding and fostering collaboration and researchers within the school and across the University. The board organises the distribution of funds from PBRF allocations to researchers within the school.
