The Centre for Tobacco Control Research (CTCR) has two groups of strategic relationships.

1) Centre for Tobacco Control Research - membership includes:

• Tobacco control researchers located at the Clinical Trials Research Unit, The University of Auckland, Auckland University of Technology and others
• Pacific Health
• Action on Smoking and Health (ASH)
• Heart Foundation
• Auckland Regional Public Health Service
• Other researchers include Trish Fraser, Global Public Health

2) Wider stakeholder groups include:

• Health Research Council
• Health Sponsorship Council
• Ministry of Health and District Health Boards
• The Quit Group
• Te Hotu Manawa Maori
• Smokefree Pacific Action Network Inc (SPAN)
• Tobacco control researchers from other New Zealand universities (Otago, Massey)
• Tala Pasifika
