School of Population Health Community service

The section is committed to actively contributing to the wider community.

A key community service is TAHA (the Pacific Well Mother and Infant Service) which aims to address issues that impact upon the health and well-being of Pacific mothers and their infants, particularly the prevention of SUDI (Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy).

Section staff are frequently asked to do community presentations and workshops. When available, the section is happy to provide invited speakers for community health events.
