Research and policy
Health services researchers examine the
quality and effectiveness of health systems. Among the topics included in health
service research are patient outcomes, prioritising healthcare purchasing,
access to care, healthcare costs and financing, primary and managed care,
integration of care, new technologies, and many other topics. A central focus of
health services research is translating evidence into policy.
The School of Population Health offers
