The Health Systems Section is involved in health services research and education at The University of Auckland and its School of Population Health.
We focus upon a number of issues relevant to healthcare delivery, evaluation, and outcome,
economic and policy analysis, particularly in the areas of stroke, disfigurement and burns,
genetic services, elderly care, diabetes, and health inequalities.
Built around a core group of researchers, the section aims to achieve high quality research
and education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels,
and to offer students the opportunity to pursue a PhD.
