The Advisory Service operated from 1997 until 2006. During that time it provided
an occasional newsletter, research methods workshops and this website as a resource
for health and social science researchers. From 2006 the director,
Professor David Thomas, became committed to full-time teaching and administration duties in the
School of Population Health. This website is being kept open as an archival resource for
health and social science researchers.
