The Goodfellow Club is starting to produce information and quizzes for primary healthcare nurses. The information used to compile the quizzes is evidence based with
the source identified at the start to enable nurses to read widely around the topic.
It is a professional responsibility of nurses to maintain their competence to practice.
Domain two of the competencies of a registered nurse states that the nurse manages
client care, which is responsive to clients’ needs and supported by nursing knowledge
and evidence based research.
Each quiz will equate to one hour of continuing professional development which will
contribute to the 60 hours of continuing professional development required every
3 years by New Zealand Nursing Council, see:
