Upcoming events
The 2012 Conference comprises of two events: (1) 27-28th June Conference and (2)
29th June post-conference symposium. The conference will provide an opportunity to bring together
health care practitioners, researchers, policy makers, students and both
government and non-government stakeholders to share knowledge and
experiences in dealing with health and wellbeing issues within the Asian and
other Ethnic Minority populations.
Recent events
On Monday 17th October CAHRE was re-launched and the centre's name changed from the
Centre for Asian Health Research and Evaluation to the Centre for Asian and
Ethnic Minority Health Research. This was celebrated at an event where the
centre was officially launched by the Hon Minister Tariana Turia, Associate
Minister for Health.
