School of Nursing Research groups

There are several research groups within the School of Nursing. Meet the research group members and discover the projects they are working on.

  • The Centre for Child and Family Research
    The Centre for Child and Family Research is a consortium of multi-disciplinary research groups combined administratively to ensure high quality research relating to national policy issues concerning children and families.
  • The Centre for Mental Health Research
    The Centre for Mental Health Research aims to provide research in partnership with service users and other stakeholders to improve the mental health of New Zealanders.
  • The Applied Ageing Research Group
    The Applied Ageing Research provides research and consultancy services for organisations who provide care and support to older or disabled people living in the community or in institutional settings.
  • The Nursing Educational Innovations Unit
    The Nursing Educational Innovations Unit draws together academics, postgraduate students and professional educators who share a commitment to research and evaluation that enhances scholarship, capability and excellence within the School of Nursing.
  • Palliative and End of Life Care Research Group
    The Palliative and End of Life Care Research Group conducts high quality, multi-disciplinary research that informs practice and policy in palliative and end of life care both nationally and internationally
