banner
We place great importance on research within the School and have an international reputation for the quality of our research activities. We have strong clinical partnerships and collaborations both nationally and internationally and our research is frequently drawn upon to inform service development and policy. Our work addresses a number of key themes, including: children and their families, mental health, ageing, palliative and end of life care, venous disease and obesity/weight management, and nursing workforce and education. The School provides numerous and varied research opportunities for postgraduate students, as well as summer studentships for undergraduate students. We welcome enquiries from students seeking to undertake postgraduate studies, as well as other academics seeking research collaborations or who would like to visit the School. Further information about our current research projects, recent publications and our contact details can be found on the website.
