The
Philson Library has all the texts needed for the nursing undergraduate and
postgraduate courses.
The nursing subject librarian is:
Lorraine offers an information service to postgraduate students and the
School of Nursing staff. This includes individual consultations, by appointment,
to discuss information and library training needs related to course and research
work including dissertations or theses.
Lorraine also runs introductory library seminars for postgraduate students
as part of the School of Nursing’s Orientation to Study Day for new students, and
presents course related seminars on literature searches and relevant electronic and print resources
for nursing.
The Philson library helps running orientation for new students in Auckland, Hamilton
and New Plymouth.
