The Department of Anaesthesiology is located on
level 12 Auckland Support Building at Auckland City Hospital, 2 Park Road
Grafton, Auckland. Several members of our department are
based in Hamilton at the Waikato Clinical School as well as the Simulation Centre
for Patient Safety at the Tāmaki Innovation Campus.
Staff in the department are involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching,
clinical skills teaching, and research. We have an active research programme and
several postgraduate research students work in the department. The department is
represented at Auckland City Hospital (level 8), Starship, Green Lane (Level 4, Auckland City Hospital),
National Womens' (Level 9, Auckland City Hospital), Middlemore, North Shore and
Waikato Hospitals.
