Surgical Skills is a non-profit educational venture committed to meeting real training needs for all members of the surgical team in New Zealand. It relies heavily on close cooperation with surgical companies and other educational bodies, eg, RACS and CETU.

Courses are provided for a broad range of health professionals using best and safe practice techniques. Optimal experience is gained by the use of animate and inanimate simulation in the Surgical lab and elsewhere.

Flexibility is important to us. To ensure improved participant experience, various venues can be used as well as creative use of equipment within the Surgical Skills centre. We can also develop and facilitate courses to suit individual or group requirements. This includes programme design, creation of instructional material and full costing.

Courses are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of registrants is not met and the course becomes unviable to proceed with. A minimum of two weeks notice is required to avoid cancellation penalties. For full details, please refer to Terms and conditions.
