This is an intensive half day
Advanced Cardian Life Support (ACLS) refresher
course utilising immersion simulation as the
teaching medium.
There will also be a focus on
crisis resource management in the debriefing sessions.
The course can take place in:
- your workplace
- the ADHB Auckland City Hospital Clinical Skills Centre
- the Mercy Hospital Advanced Clinical Skills Centre.
The tutors are clinical anaesthetists and a certified NZRC level 7 instructor who
are qualified simulation and CRM facilitators.
To ensure adequate numbers to run a course please coordinate participants through
your practice or departmental secretary.
The course qualifies for 3 credits per hour under Category 3 / Level 2 of the FANZCA CPD
programme.

Space for one free anaesthetic technician per course
- Space for one free PACU nurse per course
Cost Cost
$575 (NZ, GST inclusive) per anaesthetist if held at the Advanced Clinical Skills
Centre.
Cost negotiable if held elsewhere.
