School of Medicine Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises

Effective Management of Anaesthestic Crisis (EMAC) is a 2 1/2 day course run under the supervision of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. This course is specifically designed to improve your skill at both technical and non-technical aspects of anaesthetic crisis management.

Completion of this course meets FANZCA fellowship training requirements.

Specialist anaesthetists are very welcome to "experience" and manage clinical events in an intensive, safe and fun learning environment.

The course qualifies for 3 credits per hour Category 3 / Level 2 of the FANZCA CPD programme.

Restrictions

Intending participants with less than one year of clinical anaesthesia experience should contact Jane Torrie.

$2,000 (NZD, GST inclusive)
