School of Medicine Anaesthetic Crisis Resource Management

Anaesthetic Crisis Resource Management (ACRM) is an intensive one day course suitable for multidisciplinary teams who are working in an anaesthetic environment.

Training teams of anaesthetists and anaesthetic technicians, nurses and OR/ PACU nurses from the same department allows the Crisis Resource Management (CRM) to be taken back to your workplace.

We will accept and combine teams to allow smaller numbers of personnel from the same department.

Obstetric or paediatric-focused days may be arranged on demand. Registration is free to midwives attending the obstetric-focused course.

Qualifies for 3 credits per hour Category 3 / Level 2 of FANZCA CPD programme.

  • minimum anaesthetists: 4
  • maximum anaesthetists: 6
  • space for one free anaesthetic technician per course
  • space for one free recovery nurse per course.
