The Communications and Liaison Manager works with neuroscientists at the University of Auckland to promote awareness of brain science. The role also involves working closely with collaborators locally, nationally and internationally, including clinicians and community groups.
With a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester and a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, Laura has a wealth of background knowledge to suit the role. She has six years of experience working for the BBC in the UK, as well as an ongoing interest in science communication.
