advances in techniques and results, while opening doors for potential collaboration.
Often, conferences include stands, where companies selling a wide range of biomedical
tools showcase their newest products.
The specificity and nature of discussion depends on the conference or meeting. Conferences
usually include one or more keynote (main) speakers, with other smaller workshops
or talks. Some also include poster session(s) and social events.
