Presentations
Presentations will be held on Friday 26 September in the MDC Computer Lab (502-284).
Session will start promptly at 14:00.
Students are asked to deliver a 10 minute presentation on their Analysis of Literature
topic. The talk should cover the background, methods, results and conclusions.
Powerpoint slides should be used. Questions will be encouraged from the audience.
Powerpoint presentations must be received by Dr Holford no later than 13:00h n the
day of the presentation via email or on a USB memory stick.
Please note that strict timing will be necessary to give everyone a chance to talk.
Talks will be stopped after 10 minutes to allow 5 minutes for questions.
2 out of 10 marks allocated for the Analysis of Data assessment will be based on
the oral presentation.
Marks will be based on:
- Relevance of presentation to the requested focus
- Organisation of presentation material
- Familiarity with model and methods
- Effective use of time
- Response to questions
