Research Interests
The pathogenesis and treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
(COPD) is being investigated. Airway remodelling is being studied with a particular
interest in factors influencing the growth of cultured airway smooth muscle cells.
Clinical studies have focused on novel treatments for asthma and strategies for
treating breathlessness in patients with COPD.
