Leica Ultracut UCT Ultramicrotome	Leica Knifemaker

Joan Liu (Dept of Anatomy with Radiology) using the Ultramicrotome.	For making glass knives for sectioning.
Boekel Minifridge II	EMS Glow Discharge Unit

For tissue processing at 4 degrees Celsius (replaces the use of ice-buckets).	Used to make hydrophobic filmed grids hydrophilic and negatively charged to improve sample absorption.
Leica Lynx Tissue Processor	TAAB Vacuum Embedding Oven

For automated tissue processing - fixation, dehydration, infiltration, etc. (programmable).	For tissue embedding under vacuum.
