School of Medical Sciences Liquid Scintillation Analyzer

The Tri-CarbĀ® 2910TR LSA is a computer controlled benchtop liquid scintillation analyzer for detecting small amounts of alpha, beta and gamma radioactivity.

This instrument is not networked and not interfaced with a printer. Electronic reports (in a format that is compatible with Excel) need to be copied onto a memory stick.

New users will need to be loaded onto the system for data acquisition (i.e. to setup the correct counting protocol) and data storage (i.e. a personalised folder where the reports will be saved). No booking is required for existing users.
